[ IN NETWORK ] The doctor has been chosen by the health insurance company to represent their network. Because of this, often the deductibles are much ower than out-of-network doctors (or non-existent). Network doctors and the co-pays are much lower, as well!

[ OUT OF NETWORK ] The doctor has decided not to join these particular health networks but can still accept, in many cases, the patients as insurance patients. The challenge can be higher deductibles, co-pays, and co-insurances.
